NEW DELHI -- Anil Kapoor showered a load praise and appreciation on daughter Sonam Kapoor, who was awarded 'Filmfare Best Actor (Female) Critics' Choice' on Saturday night for her performance in 'Neerja'.
The 60-year-old veteran actor took to social media to post a lovely black and white picture of young Sonam, dressed in a white frock.
"So proud of you," the father captioned the Instagram post.
".not just for the award, but also for your choices & decisions... You know who you are & you've never backed down from a challenge and that's amazing to watch as a father and actor... Congratulations beta...," the '24' actor wrote.
Other members of the '31-year-old star's family also took to their social media handles to congratulate the stylish actor.
The 'Khoobsurat' actress played the role of Pan Am flight attendant late Neerja Bhanot in the Ram Madhav directed film, which is adapted from true life event of the flight hijacking in 1986.
