Priyanka Chopra, who's had a terrific 2016 what with Quantico and Baywatch (trailer), both eliciting a positive response, has finally found some breathing room.
The actress is currently in India to finalize her Bollywood commitments for 2017 after which she'll fly down to Goa to ring in the New Year with her Mum and her brother.
She recently attended Manish Malhotra's bash in Mumbai. Before entering the venue, the press asked her about Deepika Padukone, who's also making her Hollywood debut with XxX: Return of Xander Cage.
According to Pinkvilla, Chopra said, "I have always said Deepika (Padukone) is extremely talented and beautiful. I wish her the best withxXx and I think the way the trailers have turned out to be, it looks amazing. I hope Deepika gets the kind of recognition that she's aiming for."
Padukone's film releases on January 13 in India.
In the past, the two actresses were seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's box-office hit, Bajirao Mastani. During that time, there were reports that the two couldn't get along too well.
